Applications for 67FC Silver: = Carbide Tipping, Kitchen Appliances/Utensiles, Fittings, Laundry Equipment, HVAC, Plumbing, Wire Mesh Screens, Instrumentation Controls, Electrical Switches, Lab Equipment, Radiators, Stainless Sinks, and many others
Super active flux coated, cadmium free, silver brazing alloy with maximum silver content
Special "Fast Flow" flux coating provides twice the base metal cleansing action of conventional silver flux coatings
No odors from rubberized compounds yet the flux coating is totally flexible and non-fragile
The only flux coated silver brazing alloy strong enough to clean oxidized stainless steel
Can be used on almost any ferrous or non-ferrous metal except aluminum and magnesium
Excellent for color matching on stainless steel and nickel
Works on brass, copper, and stainless steel
67FC Silver can be used with either an oxyacetylene torch or MAPP gas
Work Hardness: Rockwell C41-54; Brinell 380-550; Vickers 400-580
Brazing Techniques: Remove any jagged edges or burrs. After cleaning metal, preheat to 350F then heat the joint area to 800F. Melt off some of the flux and allow it to flow throughout the joint. Then add alloy. Use flame to direct flow of silver. Keep torch in constant motion to prevent overheating.
Working Temperature: 1210F
Melting Range: 1140F (Solidus); 1200F (Liquidus)
Tensile Strength: 71,000 psi
Yield Strength: 60,000 psi
Elongation: 25%
